Anti-acne capsules

Initial dosage is 0.5 mg/kg/day given for 4 weeks. Because efficacy and adverse effecfs are variable according to patients, observe patient's condition during administration.

Maintenance dose: 0.1-1 mg/kg/dat according to patient's response.

The usual duration of a course of treatment is 16 weeks. A second course of therapy may be initiated if cystic acne persists, however, at least 8 weeks should elapse between courses to assess the degree of improvement and the need for further therapy. In cases of low dose, take once a day. In case of high dose, Isotretinoin should be given in divided doses a day during a meal.

Contraindications:

1. Pregnant women, nursing mothers and women suspected of being pregnant
2. Patients with hepatic impairment
3. Patients with hypervitaminosis A
4. Patients with hyperlipidemia
5. Patients who are hypersensitive to the drug and its ingredients
6. Concomitant treatment with tetracyclines.
