Dr. Miriam Dumandan-Adraneda graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. She studied Medicine at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center where she was a President Dalupan Scholar and graduated among the top of her class. She then pursued her dermatology residency at the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center. She is currently a fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society and a member of the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Miriam Adraneda is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Adraneda Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Clinic and Adraneda Aesthetics, with a special focus on acne, acne scars, skin rejuvenation, and aesthetic dermatology.
Since 2016, Dr. Adraneda has dedicated her practice to helping patients achieve healthier, smoother, and more confident-looking skin through personalized, evidence-based treatment plans. Her approach goes beyond treating a scar or skin concern in isolation—she carefully evaluates scar morphology, skin quality, facial structure, volume, and laxity to create a treatment strategy tailored to each patient.
A Multimodal Approach to Acne Scars
Dr. Adraneda is known for her Synergistic Acne Scar Treatment approach, combining different technologies and procedures according to the patient's specific scar type and skin needs. These may include fractional CO₂ laser, RF fractional microneedling, TCA CROSS, subcision, fillers, biostimulatory injectables, PRP, and other regenerative treatments.
Her philosophy is simple: there is no single “best” treatment for every acne scar. The best treatment is the one that matches the morphology of the scar, the patient's skin, and the desired outcome.
She has a particular interest in advanced combination techniques, including the Hybrid Foaming Filler technique, combining calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) and hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers to address volume loss, depressed acne scars, skin laxity, and overall skin rejuvenation.

Dr. Adraneda believes that excellence in dermatology requires continuous learning and exposure to global advances in aesthetic medicine. She has participated in international masterclasses and conferences, including training in Bangkok, Thailand and Málaga, Spain, among other international educational programs.
She personally trained under Dr. Nabil Fakih, proponent of the Hybrid Foaming Filler technique, during an advanced Botox and Filler Masterclass in Málaga, Spain.
In August 2026, Dr. Adraneda was also invited to share her clinical experience with the Hybrid Foaming Filler technique at the Merz Elevate Symposium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
