Molutrex is a topical medical device solution containing 5% potassium hydroxide (KOH) used to treat the viral skin infection Molluscum contagiosum, working by breaking down the skin's hard keratin to trigger the body's immune system to clear the molluscum blisters. Applied once or twice daily with a brush, it can reduce the typically long self-clearing time (up to 2 years) to a few weeks, offering a quick, easy, and relatively painless treatment for children and adults, though it should avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and infected skin.

Key Features & How It Works:

Active Ingredient: 5% Potassium Hydroxide.
Mechanism: The KOH solution creates an irritant reaction, dissolving the keratin surface of the molluscum papules and stimulating an immune response to eliminate the virus.
Effectiveness: Speeds up the natural resolution, with results often seen in days, clearing blisters in weeks.
Application: Applied directly to each molluscum bump once or twice daily using the built-in applicator.
Usage: For adults and children over 3 years old, on the face and body, but not near eyes or on mucous membranes.

Important Considerations:

Stop When Red: Discontinue use on a specific spot once it becomes red or swollen (indicating an immune reaction).
External Use: For external use only; avoid ingestion.
Not for All Skin: Do not use on infected molluscum, warts, or other keratinizations.

Returns:

IF UNOPEN, Send the item back within 30 days for a full refund less shipping costs. IF the listing has FREE SHIPPING then you will be charged a shipping fee of Php 80 pesos for NCR, Php 120 for Luzon, Php 170 for Visayas and Php 170 for Mindanao, unless WE made the error.
