Rejuran S is a Korean Acne Scar booster which is Korean-FDA approved, Europe CE-approved and also Singapore HSA-approved. It is Korean technology targetting treatment of depressed acne scars. It contains high concentration of salmon Polynucleotide, DNA extracts in a more viscous and denser consistency compared to the Rejuran Healer. This gel-like consistency allows immediate filling and lifting of depressed scars; while the rich concentrate of Polynucleotide, DNA and RNA stimulates and accelerates collagen regeneration and remodelling in the scar areas through activation of the fibroblast and collagen cells. What's the Difference Between Rejuran Healer and Rejuran S?

Rejuran S and Rejuran Healer are both made of polynucleotides (PN), which promote skin cell growth through the stimulation of collagen. 

The difference - Rejuran S is more concentrated and more viscous (thicker) in texture than Rejuran Healer, allowing Rejuran S be specially suited for acne scar treatments.

Being more viscous, Rejuran S  "fills" up acne scars to give immediate improvement in appearance. However, this effect is temporary and is not the main purpose of Rejuran S.

Instead, by "filling" and "propping up" acne scars, it creates a scaffold that allows more fibroblasts to stimulate production of collagen for acne scar improvement.

3 treatment sessions are recommended, 4 weeks between each treatment.

After, as maintenance, a single treatment can repeated once every 6 – 12 months to maintain collagen stimulation and skin improvement. 

How is Rejuran S Treatment Done?

Rejuran S is best used as an adjunct to any acne scar treatment procedure, specifically after RF Fractional Microneedling, Fractional RF, PRP Vampire Procedure, Dermedics Microneedling or Subcision.

Small amounts of Rejuran S is introduced at the base of the scar with a fine 30G needle. A topical antibiotic may be prescribed to prevent infections.

There may be mild transient redness, swelling and itchiness following the procedure. Needle marks will fade within 2-3 days. Bruising, if any, may resolve by itself in about 7-10 days. You can resume normal activities in a few days and makeup can usually be used the next day.
